Bryan Dell'Amico

Dell'Amico arrived in Westwood along with newly-appointed head coach Matt Werle in February 2026. Dell'Amico is one of the nation's most accomplished rising coaches, bringing more than 17 years of experience across the collegiate, club, and high school levels. He joins UCLA after a historic run at Grand Canyon University, where he served as Assistant Coach and later Co-Head Coach for the men's volleyball program.
At GCU, Dell'Amico helped guide the Lopes through their most successful era, highlighted by the program's first No. 1 national ranking, first MPSF Championship, first NCAA Tournament win, and first NCAA Final Four appearance. He was recognized as the 2025 AVCA Men's Assistant Coach of the Year after helping the Lopes finish 18-10 and hit .308, ranking 13th nationally and marking the third-best offensive season in school history.
Dell'Amico coached multiple All-Americans, including four AVCA First Team selections, and contributed to back-to-back record-setting seasons with 26 wins in 2024 and 22 wins in 2023. His experience also includes three training cycles with the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program, working with U17 and U21 athletes.
A Southern California native from Torrance, Dell'Amico was a scholarship basketball student-athlete at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where he earned his B.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training and a minor in Biology. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for more than 32 years and are the proud parents of three children: Allyson, Emily, and Eric.
