    1995
One of the most dominating pitchers in the history of collegiate softball, Doom helped lead the Bruins to three national titles in four years from 1982 to 1985. Doom went on to star in international play and in women's professional fast-pitch softball as well. She helped the U.S. team to gold-medal victories at the 1990 World Championships and at the Pan-Am Games in 1991 and 1995, once pitching back-to-back perfect games.

Doom, who opened her own softball pitching academy, was inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995.
