Bruins Capture Second Victory In Canadian Tournament

LOS ANGELES - Junior outside hitter Mark Williams pounded 15 kills to lead all players in UCLA's 4-1 victory over the University of Montreal Tuesday at the Racanor Thunderball Tournament hosted by the University of British Columbia.
All teams are playing five-game matches with a 25-point cap. The tournament winner will be determined by the number of games won.
The Bruins won 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-16. UCLA hit .328 led by Williams' line of .789 (15-0-19). Senior Ed Ratledge and sophomore Mat Komer each added 11 kills, followed by Cameron Mount's 10 kills. Komer led all players with 11 digs.
The Bruins limited Montreal to a hitting percentage of .025, including an average of -.065 in Game 3.
