Womens Golfers Take Sixth at ASU/PING Invitational

The UCLA womens golf team finished sixth in the ASU/PING Invitational at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ.
The Bruins, who carded a four-over par score of 292 in the final round, finished with a 54-hole total of 926, three shots out of fifth place. Arizona State won the event with a team score of 884, followed by second place Duke at 904 and third place Arizona at 915.
Individually for UCLA, freshman Giulia Sergas tied for ninth at 226 after carding a final round two-under par score of 70. Junior Amanda Moltke-Leth tied for 26th at 232, sophomore Leilani Bagby tied for 49th at 237 and Laura Moffat tied for 82nd at 252. Sophomore Garance Dilan, playing as an individual, tied for 66th at 243.
Arizona State sophomore Grace Park won the tournament with a three-round total of 219, three-over par. San Jose States Georgina Simpson took second at 221, followed by 36-hole leader Beth Bauer of Duke, who placed third at 223.
