Women's Swimming Sweeps Fresno State and Washington State

LOS ANGELES - The No. 15 UCLA swim team defeated Fresno State 173-81 and Washington State 166- 87 in double-dual action today at the Men's Gym Pool. Washington State defeated Fresno State 145-116 in the other meet of the day.
UCLA finished first in every event today for the first time this season. Leading the Bruins today were Keiko Price, Nicole Beck,Jen Noddle and Katie Younglove, all recording two first-place finishes. Price finished first in the 50 and 200 free, Beck in the 100 and 200 back, Noddle in the 400 IM and 200 breast and Younglove in the 100 and 200 fly. Younglove also met NCAA consideration standards in the 200 fly with a time of 2:03.04.
UCLA improves its dual meet record to 5-1-1 on the season. The Bruins will next face Rice on Friday, January 22 at 3:30 at the Men's Gym Pool.
