Paced by Redd's six points, Washington jumped out to a 15-7 lead seven minutes into the game.

The lead was then traded six times until UCLA took a 34-31 halftime lead.

Washington played its last game in Hec Edmundson Pavilion before a $39 million renovation to the 1927 arena.
