Womens Golfers 19th After First Round of NCAA West Regionals

The UCLA womens golf team is in 19th place after the first round of competition at the NCAA West Regionals, hosted by Texas A & M at Pine Forest Country Club.
A foursome of Pac-10 teams sit atop the leaderboard after 18 holes: Stanford is first at 292, followed by Arizona State and USC at 299 and Arizona at 300. Oregon is sixth at 302. The Bruins, who need to finish among the top 11 teams to qualify for the NCAA Championships, are 10 strokes behind 11th place Pepperdine, which is in at 310.
Individually, junior Amanda Moltke-Leth shot a 77 and is tied for 31st place. Freshman Giulia Sergas is tied for 65th (80), sophomore Leilani Bagby is tied for 76th (81), sophomore Laura Moffat is tied for 90th (83) and junor Alexandra Gasser is 100th (87).
Jenna Daniels of Arizona shot a two-under par 70 and leads a trio of place by one shot.
