Gymnastics Fans Invited To 'Meet The Bruins' November 6

The UCLA gymnastics team will conduct its first-ever "Meet the Bruins" event Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1:00 pm in the John Wooden Center. Admission is free to the public.
Spectators will be treated to exhibition performances from the Bruin squad, which features 1999 World University Games competitors Heidi Moneymaker, Lena Degteva and Mohini Bhardwaj. Fans will also get their first glimpse of the highly touted freshman class, which includes former U.S. National Team members Doni Thompson and Onnie Willis and former Canadian national champion Sarah Deegan. Also taking place during the exhibition will be question and answer sessions.
After the exhibition, spectators can obtain autographs and have pictures taken with the Bruin gymnasts. Season tickets and support group memberships will be on sale throughout the afternoon.
