Super Six Challenge Draw Announced

Athens, Ga. - At the Super Six Challenge tournament banquet, the UCLA Gymnastics team drew the assignment of beginning the 2000 season on the balance beam.
The pre-season No. 3 Bruins start the meet on the beam and will end on bars. No. 6 Nebraska drew the favored Olympic rotation, starting the meet on vault and ending on floor. Ninth-ranked Florida will begin on a bye before starting on bars. Host and top-ranked Georgia starts on bars and ends on bye after vault. No. 4 Michigan begins on bye before floor, and No. 2 Alabama begins on floor.
The meet will begin on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 6:30 pm ET at the University of Georgia's Stegeman Coliseum. It will be televised on a tape-delayed basis by ESPN2 on Jan. 16 at 12 pm PT and on Jan. 23 at 11 am PT by ESPN.
