Women's Golfers Climb to Second at Pac-10 Tourney

The UCLA women's golf team finished Tuesday's round in second place and senior Amanda Moltke-Leth was tied for first after 36 holes in the Pac-10 Championships at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, OR.
The Bruins fired a team score of 297 and own a 36-hole total of 598, five shots behind first place Arizona and four shots ahead of third place USC. Stanford was fourth at 604 and host Oregon was fifth at 605.
Moltke-Leth posted a 75 on Tuesday and was tied with USC's Mikaela Parmid at 145, one-over par. Arizona's Jill Gomric and Oregon's Anika Heuser were tied for third at 146.
UCLA sophomore Alicia Um posted her second straight 74 and was tied for sixth place at 148. Junior Leilani Bagby was tied for 21st at 152, followed by Laura Moffat, who carded a one-under par score of 71 and was tied for 24th at 153. Freshman Jamie Kim was in 56th place at 163 and Vivan Phosomran, playing as an individual, was tied for 32nd at 156.
Final round action continues Wednesday.
