Mohini Bhardwaj Earns Top 20 All-Around Finish

Ghent, Belgium - Two days after helping the U.S. team win a bronze medal in the team competition at the World Gymnastics Championships, former UCLA All-American Mohini Bhardwaj earned a Top 20 finish at the all-around finals. Bhardwaj placed 18th with a score of 35.036.
Svetlana Khorkina of Russia captured the gold with a 37.617, followed by teammate Natalia Ziganshina (37.305) and Andreea Raducan of Romania (36.949). Bhardwaj's U.S. teammates Tasha Schwikert (36.881) and Tabitha Yim (36.680) finished in fifth and seventh, respectively.
Bhardwaj's high score of the day was a 9.362 on vault. She will conclude her second career World Championship meet Saturday in the vault finals.
