Walnut Creek, CA - UCLA senior Mohini Bhardwaj (Cincinnati, OH/Alexander Smith Academy) has been selected as the Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week for Mar. 12-19.

Bhardwaj recorded the second-highest all-around total in NCAA history, scoring a 39.975 in the Bruins' win over Georgia Mar. 18. Having already scored a career-high 9.975 on vault and 10.0s on bars and beam, Bhardwaj began her floor exercise routine needing a 9.925 or better to secure the come-from-behind win. She responded with her third 10 of the meet to clinch the victory, 197.475-197.375.

The reigning NCAA uneven bars champion set the school records for most 10s in a season (eight) and most 10s in one meet (three). Her eight 10s also tie the Pac-10 record. She has recorded a 10 on bars in her last two consecutive meets, and her 10 on beam was only the second in UCLA history. She has four 10s on floor and is averaging 9.975 on that event.

The Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week honor is Bhardwaj's third of the season and the fourth in her career.
