Los Angeles, CA - The ninth-ranked UCLA men's soccer team came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to force a 1-1 tie with San Francisco. Adolfo Gregorio scored the Bruins' only goal of the game in the 49th minute off assists from Jimmy Frazelle and Matt Taylor.

San Francisco scored the first goal of the contest at 18:42, as Cameron Kolovos put away a rebounded shot from Luke Holmes.

After Gregorio's tying goal, both teams had golden opportunities to score but came up just short. At 65:35, San Francisco's Mike Varas caught UCLA goalkeeper Zach Wells out of his box but missed just wide of the empty net. Just three minutes later, Cliff McKinley had a shot hit the post.

The first overtime period also had its fair share of scoring opportunities. With 6:41 to play in the first overtime, Wells made a leaping save of a Ben Stuart shot, and with 1:52 remaining, USF keeper Mark Muleady made dove feet-first to block a one-on-one shot from Taylor.

Wells had six saves off 13 shots, while Muleady made eight saves on UCLA's 22 shots.

The Bruins' record moves to 12-3-3, while USF moves to 10-8-1.
