Four UCLA Golfers Earn Pac-10 Academic Honors

Bruins Tie for Second at Ihlanfeldt Invitational

The fifth-ranked UCLA women's golf team tied for second place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington at Sahalee Golf Club in Sammamish, WA.

The Bruins posted a final round team score of 307 and finished with a 54-hole total of 899, tied with California. Arizona won the event with a three-round score of 896, USC finished fourth at 914 and Oregon placed fifth at 924.

Individually, UCLA sophomore Susie Mathews tied for fourth place at 222, six-over par. Senior Bridget Dwyer and junior Charlotte Mayorkas tied for ninth place at 224, six-over par. It was Dwyer's best collegiate finish. Senior Gina Umeck tied for 31st at 233 and freshman Hannah Jun tied for 39th at 236.

Arizona's Erica Blasberg and USC's Irene Cho tied for first place at 219. Blasberg posted a final round 74 and Cho shot a 73.
