
Bruins Fall to Matadors in Four

The UCLA men's volleyball team dropped a four-game decision to Cal State Northridge Thursday night at the Matadome.
The Matadors won 30-26, 27-30, 34-32, 30-25 in two hours and seven minutes in front of 684 fans. The victory raised Cal State Northridge's record to 16-9 overall, 11-8 in league play. UCLA fell to 13-12, 8-10.
Junior Chris Pena recorded 17 kills and sophomore Jonathan Acosta added 18 to lead the Bruins.
Joe Nargi led the Matadors with 25 kills (.413).
Northridge out-blocked UCLA 12.5-11.0.
The Bruins will play at USC and Pepperdine next week before returning home against Stanford and Pacific, Apr. 11 and 12.
