Senior Tobias Clemens (Bonn, Germany/Ernst-Kalhuhl Gymnasium) of the UCLA Men's Tennis Team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 12-19.

For the third year in a row, Clemens captured the singles title at the Sherwood Collegiate Cup, defeating teammate Kris Kwinta, 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-3 in Monday's final. Clemens only dropped one set en route to the title, moving his winning streak at Sherwood to 15 straight matches dating back to January of 2002. He is now 18-1 on the season and ranked No. 12 nationally in singles.

This is Clemens' second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
