UCLA Blue Team Finishes 12th at Wood Ranch

The UCLA men's golf Blue Team finished 12th at the Bill Cullum/Countrywide Invitational, hosted by Cal State Northridge at Wood Ranch Country Club.

The Bruins posted a three-round team score of 896 and finished behind St. Mary's College, which won the event with a record 19-under par total of 845. Santa Clara finished second at 869 (+5), followed by Weber State at 871 (+7).

Individually, freshman Craig Leslie tied for sixth place with a 54-hole score of 214 (-2). Leslie posted an even par 72 in the final round after posting a three-under par score of 69 in the first round on Monday. Sophomore Joakim Renstrom tied for eighth place at one-under par 215. Renstrom entered the final round at four-under par 140, but slipped to a 75 on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Brandon Christianson tied for 49th at 226 and freshman Matt Marshall tied for 79th at 241.

St. Mary's Joe Lanza won the event with an eight-under par score of 208.
