The second-ranked UCLA women's golf team is in second place entering Tuesday's second round at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona at Arizona National Golf Club.

The Bruins posted a first round score of 288, four-over par, and trail Ohio State by three shots. California is third at 289, followed by Vanderbilt at 290 and UNLV at 306. Host Arizona is eighth at 311.

Individually, the Bruins' Charlotte Mayorkas and Hannah Jun are tied for seventh place after posting even par rounds of 71. Tied for 12th at two-over par 73 are seniors Krystal Shearer and Bridget Dwyer. Sophomore Susie Mathews is tied for 15th after posting a 74.

UCLA senior Hana Kim, competing as an individual, is tied for 50th after carding an 81.

Ohio State's Allison Hanna and Cal's Sarah Huarte currently share the first round lead with three-under par 68s.
