Dijon Thompson Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Thompson scored a career-high tying and game-high 29 points to lead UCLA to a come-from-behind 95-86 victory over 12th-ranked Washington on Saturday. In his 100th career game, Thompson led the Bruin comeback with 19 second-half points. He shot 11-17 from the field, including 2-3 from three-point land. He also had a game-high nine rebounds, plus three assists and one steal.

In UCLA's 80-77 double-overtime victory over Washington State on Thursday, Thompson played a career-high tying 43 minutes and scored 10 points with a game-high and career-high tying 16 rebounds. It was his fourth double-double of the season. He also had two assists. In the final minute of the second overtime, UCLA hit 4-6 free throws, three from Thompson, to seal the win.

This is Thompson's second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
