Press Conference Opening Statement
Today was sort of a surreal experience. I'm not really sure how I should be feeling right now. I've had an amazing four years. I've had so many great experiences and memories and a lot of fun. Today was just a blast so it was a great way to finish off my career.
Follow-up (On what her individual title means to UCLA, and without the team)
I was really excited to come in and have a great day today, and finish out the season on a high note. We definitely had a lot of struggles this season. Not being able to bring a team to nationals was really disappointing. It was hard, but we made the most of it. Our team really came together and had a great time and did a great job. It's great to end out like this and hopefully this will motivate the team for next year to go in and have a great season.
(Did you meet or exceed your expectations)
Exceed... yeah. I don't really know what to think, I just want to go out and enjoy the moment. I didn't want to put pressure on it, I just wanted to go out and hit my routine, and do the best that I can do. I had a blast, it was so much fun.
(Nerves about going at end)
No, I like going at the end a lot better. The crowd is all riled up by the end. It's fun to kind of close out the event, I enjoy it.
