Golfers Capture Third Place in Vanderbilt Tournament

The seventh-ranked UCLA women's golf team captured third place at the Mason Rudolph Championship, hosted by Vanderbilt University at the Legends Course in Franklin, TN.
On Sunday, the Bruins posted a team score of 296 (+8) for a 54-hole total of 872 (E). They finished behind Duke at 863 (-1) and Georgia at 866 (+2). Arizona placed fourth at 875 (+11), followed by fifth-place Purdue at 881 (+17).
Individually, sophomore Tiffany Joh tied for fourth place after posting a final round 76 (+4) for a three-round total of 214 (-2). Freshman Sydnee Michaels tied for 14th place at 217 (+1) following an even par 72 in the final round. Senior Hannah Jun tied for 17th place at 219 (+3) after carding a 71 (-1) on Sunday and sophomore Ryann O'Toole tied for 33rd place at 223 (+7). Freshman Lalita Boonnoppornkul placed 78th at 243 (+27).
The Bruins will travel to Daytona, FL later next week for the Fall Preview.
