The UCLA men's golf team finished fifth Sunday at the U.S. Intercollegiates, hosted at the Stanford Golf Course.

The Bruins posted a team score of 281 (+1) in the final round for a 54-hole total of 831 (-9), their best score of the season. Washington captured top honors with a score of 804 (-36) and won by 15 shots over USC (819, -21). Arizona State placed third at 824 (-16), followed by Stanford at 829 (-11).

Individually for the Bruins, senior Erik Flores recorded his third consecutive Top 10 result, tying for seventh place at five-under par 205. Flores birdied the final hole for an even par round of 70 on Sunday. Freshman Gregor Main posted the Bruins' best score of the day -- a two-under par 68 -- and improved nine spots to tie for 13th place at 207 (-3). Freshman Alex Shi Yup Kim tied for 21st at 209 (-1) after posting a 70 (E) on Sunday and sophomore Philip Francis tied for 26th at 210 (E) following a round of 73 (+3). Freshman Beau Schoolcraft finished 87th at 234 (+24).

Sophomore Connor Driscoll tied for 71st at 223 (+13) playing as an individual.

Washington's Nick Taylor led a trio of Huskies atop the leaderboard. Taylor fired a final round 63 (-7) and won by a stroke over teammate Darren Wallace.
