Two Bruin Gymnasts Earn Scholastic All-America Honors

UCLA's Talia Kushynski and Ariana Berlin were named NACGC/W Scholastic All-Americans for 2008-09.
Kushynski, who will be a junior this upcoming season, picked up her first Scholastic All-America honor after recording a 3.55 GPA in Sociology during the school year. Berlin, who completed her eligibility in the spring, earned her third career scholastic honor with a 3.57 GPA in World Arts and Culture (dance emphasis). Berlin was the 2009 Pac-10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year for gymnastics and a second-team Academic All-District selection.
The NACGC/W Scholastic All-America team acknowledges gymnasts who carry a 3.5 or higher GPA during the school year.
