Seventh-ranked UCLA was in fifth place Monday after two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate, hosted at the Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto.

The Bruins posted identical scores of 283 (+3) and were four shots out of the lead at 566 (+6). Washington was tied for first place with San Diego State at 562 (+2), followed by Oregon at 563 (+3) in third place. In fourth place was USC at 564 (+4). San Jose State was sixth at 573 (+13).

Individually for UCLA, sophomore Alex Shi Yup Kim was tied for 10th at even par 140 following a pair of 70s. Tied for 16th was sophomore Gregor Main at 141 (+1) after posting scores of 70-71, and tied for 19th was freshman Pedro Figueiredo at two-over par 142, following scores of 72-70. Freshman Pontus Widegren was tied for 23rd at 143 (+3) after carding scores of 71-72 and teammate Mario Clemens was tied for 46th at 147 (+7) following rounds of 75-72.

Washington's Nick Taylor was the 36-hole leader at four-under par 136 following a pair of 68s.
