Zamarripa, Larson Compete At U.S. National Championships

UCLA junior Vanessa Zamarripa and signee Mattie Larson will begin the first day of competition Thursday evening at the 2010 Visa Championships in Hartford, CT. The Visa Championships, which are USA Gymnastics' national championships, will be televised live at 4 pm PT on Universal Sports and will be streamed online as well on UniversalSports.com.

Day two of the women's competition takes place on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 5 pm PT. NBC will cover the meet live on the East Coast beginning at 8 pm ET. West Coast viewers get the meet delayed on NBC at 8 pm PT. UniversalSports.com will have coverage online beginning at 7:30 pm PT. Live scoring is available at USA-Gymnastics.org.

Larson, who signed a letter-of-intent with UCLA last November, won the all-around at the CoverGirl Classic in July, while Zamarripa, the 2010 NCAA vault champion and Pac-10 Gymnast of the Year, tied for seventh.
