UCLA Signee Peng Peng Lee Leads Canada to Pan Am Silver

UCLA signee Peng Peng Lee led the Canadian gymnastics team to a silver medal at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico on Monday. Lee posted the second-highest qualifying mark in the all-around, scoring 55.325, just one-tenth of a point out of first place.

The Canadian team totaled 217.45 to finish in second place behind the U.S. (219.75). The Canadians had the top team marks on balance beam (55.175) and floor exercise (54.8).

In addition to qualifying for the all-around finals, Lee qualified to the event finals on uneven bars, posting the third-best uneven bars score, 14.275.

The all-around finals will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 26, and uneven bars finals take place on Thursday, Oct. 27.
