UCLA's Ben Hohl (men's water polo) and Brittani McCullough (gymnastics) were named as 2010-11 Pac-10 Tom Hansen Conference Medal winners. A Conference Medal is awarded annually to each member institution's outstanding senior male and female student-athlete based on the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.
Hohl starred on the UCLA men's water polo team the last four seasons, finishing his career in a tie for seventh place on UCLA's all-time goals list (142, tied with Chris Kellerman). Hohl secured ACWPC All-America honors as a junior and senior. He was a three-time MPSF All-Academic Team selection and ACWPC All-Academic honoree. Hohl helped lead UCLA as the runner-up at the 2009 NCAA Tournament and to the 2009 MPSF Tournament Championship. The native of Atherton, Calif., played in 105 career matches, making 102 starts for the Bruins from 2007 through 2010.

McCullough was a top performer for the Bruins since her freshman year, twice coming back from season-ending injuries to total four All-America and four All-Pac-10 honors in her career. During her junior season in 2010, she helped lead UCLA to its sixth NCAA team title and also won the NCAA floor exercise title. Additionally, she captured the floor exercise crowns at the NCAA Regional and Pac-10 Championships. In 2008, she was named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. McCullough, who earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors in 2011, was also a Honda Award finalist and UCLA's NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.
The winners will be honored at the State Farm Pride of the Pac-12 Breakfast held in Los Angeles in conjunction with the Pacific Life Pac-12 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments next March.
The Tom Hansen Conference Medal was named in honor of Hansen, who served 26 years as commissioner of the Pac-10 Conference, retiring in June of 2009. The award was first named in his honor in 2008-09.
