Anna Li Takes Lead On Uneven Bars At Visa Championships

UCLA alumna Anna Li posted the highest mark of the day on the uneven bars to take the lead on that event on day one of the women's competition at the Visa Championships in St. Paul, MN on Thursday.
Li earned a score of 15.05 to take a .05 lead on her Legacy Elite teammate Mackenzie Caquatto. Li's routine had a meet-high tying start value of 6.5, and she earned an execution score of 8.55. She also competed on balance beam and earned a Top 10 placing with a ninth-place score of 13.85.
The competition concludes on Saturday, Aug. 20, with live TV coverage on NBC Sports beginning at 5 pm PT. The national champions will be determined by the combined scores of the two days of competition.
