Two UCLA Gymnastics Dual Meets to Be Televised on Pac-12 Networks

UCLA gymnastics dual meets against Utah on Jan. 12 and at Stanford Feb. 2 will be televised live nationally on the Pac-12 Networks, the Pac-12 Conference announced today. The two televised meets are among 10 Pac-12 gymnastics meets confirmed for broadcast on the Networks.
The six-time NCAA champion Bruins will host nine-time NCAA champion Utah in the Pac-12 Networks' first-ever live gymnastics broadcast on Saturday, Jan. 12. The meet will be held in New Pauley Pavilion at 7:30pm PT.
The UCLA at Stanford meet will also be a live broadcast and will take place at Stanford's Burnham Pavilion on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4pm PT.
Also on the Pac-12 Networks schedule is the Pac-12 Championships, held Saturday, Mar. 23 in Corvallis, Ore.
UCLA will host five regular season home meets in 2013, as well as the NCAA Championships on Apr. 19-21. The first meet in New Pauley Pavilion will be Sunday, Jan. 6 against Southern Utah at 2pm. The Bruins will host two quad meets on Sunday, Feb. 10 vs. Washington, Sacramento State and UC Davis and on Sunday, Mar. 10 vs. Michigan, California and Iowa State before closing out the regular season with a home dual meet against Arkansas on Sunday, Mar. 17. Additionally, UCLA will bring its annual Meet the Bruins preseason event to Pauley Pavilion on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2pm.
The NCAA Championships will be held in Pauley Pavilion for the fourth time. The last time UCLA hosted the event in 2004, the Bruins captured the title with a NCAA Championship record score of 198.125.
Road meets for UCLA include a Mar. 1 dual meet at Alabama, a Feb. 22 matchup against Oklahoma and a conference showdown at Oregon State on Feb. 16.
UCLA, which finished one-tenth of a point out of first place at the 2012 NCAA Championships, has five returning All-Americans (Olivia Courtney, Monique De La Torre, Samantha Peszek, Sydney Sawa and Vanessa Zamarripa), two of whom are also NCAA champions (Zamarripa - 2010 vault, Peszek - 2011 beam). The Bruins also welcome a strong freshman class, led by 2012 Olympics alternate Danusia Francis from Great Britain and 2012 Canadian Olympic team honorary captain Christine Peng-Peng Lee.
Season tickets and NCAA Championship tickets are on sale now online at uclabruins.com or at the UCLA Central Ticket Office (310-UCLA-WIN). Season tickets are $40 for five home meets and feature the best reserved seating in the arena. Single-meet general admission tickets are also on sale for $8 for adults and $5 for youth. NCAA Championship tickets are also available for as low as $35 for an all-session pass.
