Four Bruins Competing in CSUSM Cougar Invite

San Marcos, Calif. - Juniors Mario Clemens and Bobby Lange and freshmen Matt Pinizzotto and Preston Valder all competed in the CSUSM Cougar Invite today as individuals.
Pinizzotto shot a 74 (+2) and 70 (-2) for his two rounds to give him a total score of 144 (E). Valder started off the day shooting 76 (+4) for his first round before coming back strong and posting a 71 (-1) for his second round, giving him an overall score of 147 (+3). Clemens recorded a 78 (+6) and then, like Valder, shot under par for the second round, carding a 71 (-1) to give him a score of 149 (+5) for the first 36 holes. Finally, Lange shot 83 (+11) and 92 (+20) for his first two rounds to give him a total of 175 (+31).
All four golfers will play 18 holes tomorrow in the final round of the tournament.
