UCLA Voted No. 1 in Pac-12 Preseason Gymnastics Coaches Poll

Stanford was picked to finish third with 37 points, followed by Oregon State (31), Arizona (22), Washington (18), California (17) and Arizona State (8). All eight Pac-12 teams are ranked in the national preseason coaches Top 25, with UCLA leading the way at No. 4.
The Bruins return All-Americans Olivia Courtney, Sophina DeJesus, Danusia Francis, Samantha Peszek and Sydney Sawa for 2014.
This is the third year of the preseason coaches poll, with UCLA claiming the top spot in the preseason poll each year. The 2014 season is set to begin Sunday, Jan. 5. The Bruins' season opener is Saturday, Jan. 11 against top-ranked Florida in Pauley Pavilion.
Pac-12 Gymnastics will be featured 16 times on the Pac-12 Networks. UCLA will be featured in seven of those meets, including the Bruins' first six of the season. For a full schedule of televised Pac-12 events, visit www.pac-12.com.
