
Bruins Complete 36 Holes in Anteater Invitational

Four UCLA golfers completed 36 holes of play in the Anteater Invitational Monday at El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Nigel.
Freshman Jonathan Garrick led the UCLA contingent with scores of 76-70--146 (+2) and was tied for sixth place, three shots off the lead. Sophomore Preston Valder was tied for eighth place after posting rounds of 76-71--147 (+3). Tied for 17th place were freshman Lorens Chan and Jay Hwang at 151 (+7). Both players posted rounds of 75-76.
Long Beach State's Daniel Chiang was the two-round leader in the clubhouse at 143 (-1) after carding scores of 69-74.
The final round will be completed on Tuesday.
