Former team member Ashley Martin is in her third year as team manager after a back injury forced her to retire from competitive gymnastics.

Martin was a member of UCLA's 2004 NCAA Championship team. After injury cut her season and career short prior to the start of the season, Martin remained on the squad and assisted Bruin head coach Valorie Kondos with choreography duties and managerial tasks.

Prior to attending UCLA, Martin was an accomplished Level 10 gymnast, qualifying to the National Championships five times (1999-2003), the Regional Championships seven times and the State meet 10 times. In 2003, she captured the balance beam title at the State Championships in Oregon, and in 2000, she was the Regional beam champion. She placed 13th on beam at the 2001 National Championships. Martin captured the all-around, vault, bars and floor state titles in 2000. She trained at Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) Gymnastics.
