Favorite campus hangout?
I'm never on campus but when I am, I'm usually in Pauley Pavilion.

Favorite UCLA class?
Oceanography. We got to go on a boat during a field trip, where we studied the fish in the marina.

One food you couldn't live without?
Taco Bell. I make Taco Bell runs at midnight, that's when it's the best, and there is one right down the street from my house.

If you could have one celebrity guest over for dinner, whom would you invite? What would you serve?
NBA player Antawn Jamison. I would serve him anything he wanted.

Favorite music/musical group?
R & B and rap. I don't really have a favorite group.

Best movie you've seen lately?
The Sixth Sense but Pretty Woman is my all-time favorite movie.

If you could become a character on any TV show, who would you be?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, because she kicks people's butts.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
I always have to be the second-to-last one out of the locker room when we run out on the floor for basketball games. Erica (Gomez) is always behind me. I'm not very superstitious.

What do you like the most about playing basketball?
I like winning and the competition. If you mess up, there's always tomorrow to come back and get better.

What is your favorite aspect about being a UCLA athlete?
The environment. The people around me are always so nice. Academics go with it, but the athletes are not always into their own team. They make time for other people. It's like a family and everybody takes care of each other.

What was your most exciting moment on the UCLA basketball team?
Beating Alabama in the Sweet 16 two years ago. And also going to the Elite Eight last year.

If you could play one-on-one with anybody, who would it be?
Antawn Jamison, or Michael Jordan...either one..whoever is available first!

What is your favorite sport to watch?
Men's college basketball, since I don't like the NBA. I like watching both college and professional football. I don't have a favorite team, but I'm trying to hype up the Cleveland Browns.

What do you see yourself doing in ten years?
Probably still playing basketball. If not, married, but no kids yet. I want to be a lawyer so hopefully starting a career in law.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Hawaii because it's so pretty and I love it there. We went there for a basketball tournament and I want to go back.

As a child, what job did you most want to have?
I wanted to be a veterinarian because I didn't like seeing sick animals. But then I realized that you have to hurt them, like give them shots, to make them better, so I didn't want to do that anymore.

When did you start to play basketball and to really focus on it?
My freshman year in high school. They made me choose between basketball and soccer because both sports are played in the same season. I chose basketball; they said I looked funny playing soccer because I was so tall!

What other sports would you play besides basketball?
Soccer and water polo. Water polo looks fun but I can't swim, so I couldn't play. Nobody ever taught me how to swim.

What is your favorite L.A. activity?
Just going out and being with friends. There is always something to do in L.A.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Be confident in all that you do. As long as you can look at yourself in the mirror everyday, then you know you're all right. My mom told me that.
