Golfers Tie for Fourth at Regional Challenge

The UCLA women's golf team tied for fourth at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge Tuesday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.

The Bruins posted a final round score of 300 (+16) for a 43-hole total of 881 (+29) and tied with Washington. USC place first with a score of 866 (+14), followed by Duke at 873 (+21) and Arizona State at 875 (+23). The Sun Devils posted the low of the day – 281 (-3) – and climbed four spots up the leader board.

Individually for UCLA, freshman Bronte Law tied for third place with five other players at 215 (+2) after posting her second consecutive round of 72 (+1). Freshman Alison Lee, who was tied with Law in ninth place entering the final round, tied for 18th place at 220 (+7), following her round of 77 (+6). Tied for 28th place were senior Ani Gulugian and junior Erynee Lee at 10-over par 223. In the final round, Gulugian posted a 74 (+3) and Lee carded a score of 77 (+6). Sophomore Louise Ridderstrom tied for 68th at 232 (+19) and freshman Yvonne Zheng, playing as an individual, finished 87th.

USC's Annie Park won medalist honors with a three-round total of 207 (-3).
