Golfers Tie for Sixth at PING/ASU Invitational

The Bruins posted a final round team score of 287 (-1) to finish the tournament with a 54-hole score of 872 (+8). South Carolina won the event with a score of 853 (-11) and Washington, Arizona State and Duke tied for second place at 859 (-5). Arizona finished four shots ahead of UCLA in fifth place at 868 (+4).
Individually for the Bruins, junior Erynne Lee rose 18 spots up the leader board on Sunday after firing a six-under par 66. She played the inward nine in 32 (-5), which included an eagle at the 10th hole and consecutive birdies on holes 11-13. Overall, she tied for fifth place at 212 (-4). Sophomore Louise Ridderstrom posted a final round 72 (E) and tied for 20th at 218 (+2). Freshman Bronte Law tied for 27th place at 219 (+3), following an even par round of 72 on Sunday. Senior Ani Gulugian tied for 40th at 223 (+7) after carding a 77 (+5) and junior Brittany Mai tied for 75th at 239 (+23).
UCLA was without freshman Alison Lee, who played in the Kraft Nabisco Championship this week. Lee made the 36-hole cut on Friday and played the final two rounds in three-under par.
Duke's Celine Boutier won the ASU tournament with a three-round score of 208 (-8) after posting a final round score of 70 (-2).
