In Focus: Kelli Hayes

The Bruin Films series "In Focus" highlights the unique stories of UCLA student-athletes. In the latest episode, get to know Kelli Hayes, a sophomore guard on the UCLA Women's Basketball Team.
Hayes talks about growing up in a large family with a large extended family in one house. She also talks about her solid relationship with her parents and the importance of being a good role model, especially for girls and young women. Hayes continued to improve as the season progressed last year and doubled her playing time by the end of the campaign. She opened up the 2015-16 season with six points, two rebounds and a blocked shot in the win over St. John's (Nov. 13).
