
Bruins Fifth after 36 Holes in Valspar Intercollegiate

Following a 32-minute weather delay in the second round, the Bruins turned in a four-under par score of 280 to climb the leader board into fifth place at 574 (+6). LSU was first at 15-under par 553, followed by Florida State at 14-under 554. South Carolina was third at 564 (-4) and South Florida was fourth at 568 (E).
Individually for UCLA, junior Jonathan Garrick and senior Matt Pinizzotto were tied for 21st place at one-over par 143. Both players posted scores of 74-69 in the first two rounds. Garrick's second round card featured a pair of eagles. Tied for 28th at 145 (+3) was junior Jake Knapp, who carded scores of 75-70. Senior Manav Shah was tied for 36th at 147 (+5) after rounds of 75-72, and junior Lorens Chan was tied for 49th place following his scores of 71-79.
Texas A&M's Greg Yates was the 36-hole leader after firing rounds of 67-67—134 (-8).
