Samantha Peszek Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Peszek won a pair of national titles at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships, tying for the all-around win with a score of 39.600 and capturing her second career balance beam championship with a score of 9.950. She also tied for ninth place on floor exercise. Additionally, Peszek earned first-team All-America honors in the all-around, balance beam and floor exercise and second-team acclaim on vault and uneven bars. In the semifinals of the team competition, she scored 9.9 on every event.
This is Peszek's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and fifth of her career.
