The first 150 UCLA students to attend Thursday's game at 5pm will receive a free UCLA Soccer scarf, plus pizza and root beer floats.

UCLA will honor its seven seniors prior to Sunday's game against Washington State. Senior ceremonies will take place at approximately 12:45pm. The Bruin seniors - Alyssa Alarab, Annie Alvarado, Darian Jenkins, Lauren Kaskie, Gabbi Miranda, Amber Munerlyn, and Courtney Proctor - have compiled a four-year record of 61-15-7, a winning percentage of .777, two Pac-12 titles and UCLA's first-ever NCAA title in 2013. They have played in a combined 418 games during their careers at UCLA.
Alumni Weekend
UCLA Soccer is hosting a Fall Alumni Weekend for both men's and women's alumni this week. The weekend activities include a ticket to the UCLA Football Homecoming game on Oct. 22, halftime recognition at the Oct. 23 games, a men's alumni game on Oct. 23, a postgame clinic after the Oct. 23 women's game, and an alumni barbeque. Alumni seeking more information can contact assistant coaches Louise Lieberman or Phil Marfuggi.
In the Rankings
After UCLA's 2-1 double overtime win over Arizona, the Bruins moved up two spots to 12th in the NSCAA rankings. UCLA remained at 13th in the Soccer America poll and ninth in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.
Last Time Out
Freshman Sunny Dunphy scored her first career goal in the 102nd minute to lead UCLA to a 2-1 double overtime victory at Arizona on Oct. 13. Defender Hailie Mace set up the goal with a tremendous run from midfield, weaving her way through the Wildcat defense all the way to the six before sending the ball across to Dunphy, who tapped it in at 101:14 to end the game. Anika Rodriguez scored the first goal of the game in the seventh minute, and Arizona tied it with a long-distance bomb in the 66th minute.
Mace Named to TDS Team of the Week
Sophomore defender Hailie Mace was selected to Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week after her performance in the Arizona game. Mace set up the game-winning goal in double overtime with what Top Drawer Soccer called a "marauding run from her center back spot." Mace has had a tremendous season for the Bruins, starting in all 14 games and logging 1222 minutes while helping the Bruins achieve six shutouts.

Even with Jessie Fleming and Darian Jenkins totaling 15 goals between them, there have been a total of 11 different Bruin players who have scored this season. Also seeing the back of the net have been three-goal scorer Amber Munerlyn, two-goal scorers Anika Rodriguez and Gabbi Miranda and single-goal scorers Annie Alvarado, Gabrielle Matulich, Julia Hernandez, Claire Winter, Chloe Castaneda, Courtney Proctor and Sunny Dunphy. Rodriguez and MacKenzie Cerda have been the main providers for the Bruin goals with six assists apiece.

Bruin Strong
Six Bruins have logged over 1000 of 1317 minutes of playing time in the team's 14 games this season. Goalkeeper Teagan Micah has played in all 1317 minutes, while defenders Kaiya McCullough (1229), Hailie Mace (1222), Zoey Goralski (1197), Annie Alvarado (1044) and Anika Rodriguez (1008) have each played over 1000 minutes.
Fresh Faces
Only four players have started in all 14 games this season, and three of them are freshmen - goalkeeper Teagan Micah, defender Kaiya McCullough and midfielder Anika Rodriguez. The fourth is sophomore Hailie Mace. Micah became the first true freshman to start in goal on opening day since Valerie Henderson in 2004. Three other newcomers have earned starts this season - sophomore transfer Julia Hernandez, redshirt freshman Chloe Castaneda and freshmen Jacey Pederson and Sunny Dunphy.
Proctor Returns to Pitch
Sixth-year senior Courtney Proctor made her season debut on Sept. 16, playing five minutes at Pepperdine and has played in every game since. She earned her first start of the season against California and played in a season-high 87 minutes. Proctor's minutes were well-earned, as she scored the tying goal with 53 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime. The goal was her first since the 2013 season. Proctor began her career at UCLA in 2011, redshirted due to a torn ACL in 2012, played 24 games during UCLA's NCAA championship year in 2013 then played just six games in 2014 due to injury. She was granted a redshirt exception after the 2015 season and came back for her sixth season this year.
Jenkins Out for Season
Senior forward Darian Jenkins had her season cut short on Oct. 2 at Oregon when she suffered a fibula fracture of her left lower leg in the second half of the Bruins' 3-2 win over the Ducks. Jenkins was having an outstanding senior campaign, scoring a then-Pac-12 best seven goals, 17 points and five game-winning goals. She had started in all 11 games and recorded her first career hat trick in the first half of the Bruins' season opener at San Diego State. Jenkins finishes her UCLA career with 29 goals, 12 assists and 70 points, along with 14 game-winning goals, which rank tied for fifth in UCLA history. She remains a nominee for the Senior CLASS Award, which honors senior student-athletes for their achievements in the community, classroom, character and competition.
Freshman Four in TDS Top 40; Alvarado in Upperclassmen Top 100
Four UCLA Bruins are ranked in the Top 40 of Top Drawer Soccer's midseason Top 100 freshman list, including top-ranked Jessie Fleming. UCLA is the only school with two freshmen in the Top 10, as forward/midfielder Anika Rodriguez joins Fleming in the Top 10 at No. 7. Defender Kaiya McCullough ranks 27th, and goalkeeper Teagan Micah ranks 40th. Rodriguez, McCullough and Micah have started every game for the Bruins. Fleming leads the team in goals scored with eight in 11 games. Additionally, Annie Alvarado is ranked in the midseason Top 100 Upperclassman list at No. 63.
International Bruins
UCLA has five international players on its roster this season, all from different countries. Siri Ervik is the lone upperclassman of the group, having arrived from Norway in 2014. The other four are freshmen - Jessie Fleming from Canada, Julia Hernandez from Spain, Teagan Micah from Australia, and Maki Umehara from Japan. Hernandez and Umehara both went to school in the United States (Hernandez played one year at Eastern Florida State College in 2015, and Umehara was born in New York and played at Scarsdale HS in New York in 2012).
#LaurenStrong
The Bruins have been wearing neon green warmup shirts to support UCLA alumna Lauren Holiday, who was recently diagnosed with an operable brain tumor. UCLA's shirt has the hashtag #LaurenStrong on the front. On the back is her last name with the number 8, which she wore at UCLA.
Crosstown Showdown Moved to StubHub Center
The highly-anticipated Nov. 4 crosstown showdown between UCLA and USC has been moved from McAlister Field on the USC campus to the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The match will kick off at 7:00 pm and will be televised live on Pac-12 Network. Both teams are currently ranked in the Top 12. The series between the two teams has averaged over 8,000 fans in the last two years, with an NCAA record 10,128 on hand at the Coliseum in 2014 to see the Bruins defeat the Trojans, 2-0, to capture the Pac-12 title outright.
From UCLA to USA
Future Bruins Marley Canales and Mal Pugh have been selected to represent the United States at the 2016 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup, which will take place in Papua New Guinea from Nov. 13-Dec. 3. The U.S. opens tournament play on Nov. 14 against France, then will face New Zealand on Nov. 17 and Ghana on Nov. 21. On the full national team side, alumnae Abby Dahlkemper and Sam Mewis were called up for the team's training camp ahead of friendlies against Switzerland this month. This is Dahlkemper's first full team call-up.
Looking Ahead
The Bruins will travel to Colorado and Utah for a pair of Pac-12 games against two of the league leaders.
