Bennett Selected by Penn. Rebellion

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Senior Allexis Bennett was selected by the Pennsylvania Rebellion with the eighth overall pick in Thursday's National Pro Fastpitch College Draft. Bennett was the second pick in the second round.
It has been a big week for Bennett, who was named a Top 25 finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award on Wednesday.
A total of 23 Bruins have played for the NPF, including four active players, GiOnna DiSalvatore, Andrea Duran, Amanda Kamekona and Natasha Watley, who all play for the USSSA Pride.
