NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- Fourth-ranked UCLA (17-4) concluded its regular season with a 10-match winning streak, posting a 5-0 victory without dropping a set at CSUN (6-12) on Wednesday afternoon at Matador Beach Volleyball Facility on the campus of CSUN.
The Bruins' duo of freshman Megan McNamara and junior Jordan Anderson rebounded after an earlier loss to LMU to post a straight-set win over Julie Haake and Maddie Leiphardt, 21-10, 22-20.
On court two, UCLA's senior Kamila Tan and sophomore Ivey Schmitt took down the Matadors' Aeryn Owens and Erin Indermill in straight sets, 21-10, 21-10.
UCLA's duo of sophomore Elise Zappia and freshman Izzy Carey also posted a straight-set win at flight three, defeating CSUN's Rachel Gam and Kristey Markle, 21-13, 21-12.
The Bruins also got a straight-set win on court four as UCLA's tandem of freshman Zana Muno and junior Jessyka Ngauamo defeated the Matadors' Nada Dragovic and Kamden Maas, 21-18, 21-17.
Senior Julie Consani and her partner, junior Laurel Weaver, also won in straight sets on court five, posting a 21-13, 21-14 win over CSUN's Nicoletta Stork and Nicolette Pinkney.
In an exhibition match, seniors Rachel Inouye and Karly Drolson posted a straight-set win over CSUN's Lauren Conati and Rachel Diaz, 21-7, 21-14.
The Bruins return to action on April 28 when they travel to USC to compete in the first-ever Pac-12 Championships (April 28 - May 1) in beach volleyball.
