Kocian to Compete at P&G Championships

Incoming freshman Madison Kocian will compete this weekend at the P&G Gymnastics Championships in St. Louis, Mo. Day one of the competition begins Friday, June 24 at 5:30pm PT. NBC will televise the meet at 9pm ET/PT, and a webcast will begin at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on NBC Live Extra at livestream.nbcsports.com.
Kocian is the 2015 World and U.S. champion on the uneven bars and a two-time World Championship team gold medalist. She is coming off a bone injury in her left foot but competed at the Secret U.S. Classic earlier in the month and placed second on uneven bars. Kocian will begin the P&G Championships on vault and rotate to uneven bars, balance beam, then floor exercise.
Day two of the national championships takes place on Sunday, June 26, with the same viewing times and channels as day one. Kocian will begin on her signature event, the uneven bars, before moving to balance beam, floor exercise and vault.
Following the Championships will be the U.S. Olympic Trials, which will take place July 8 and 10 in San Jose.
