UCLA Drops Regular Season Finale at SDSU

SAN DIEGO – Brian Iloski registered two shots including one on goal as the UCLA men's soccer team dropped its regular season finale at San Diego State, 4-0, on Saturday from the SDSU Sports Deck. The Bruins end the regular season with a 7-10-1 record with a 4-6-0 mark in Pac-12 play.
The Bruins were outshot by the Aztecs, 16-8, including 7-5 in shots on goal, while SDSU held a 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
San Diego State (6-13-0, 1-9-0) jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Dallin Cutler recorded a first-half brace. In the sixth minute, Cutler collected a ball at the top of the box and slotted a low shot to the left post. At the 29-minute mark, Cutler would record his third goal of the season as he collected a cross from Jereon Meefout for his first of two assists on the night.
The Aztecs added to their lead in the 66th minute when Winston Sorhaitz collected a deflected shot in the box and beat the keeper for a three-goal advantage.
UCLA played a man down for the remainder of the match as Milan Iloski was issued a red card in the 66th minute. SDSU scored its final goal of the match in the 87th minute Meefout tallied his eighth of the season.
Kevin Silva finished the match with three saves while San Diego State's Adam Allmaras recorded a shutout with five saves.
