Lee Earns Third Pac-12 Specialist of Week Award

UCLA redshirt senior Christine Peng-Peng Lee earned her third Pac-12 Specialist of the Week award this season after scoring a perfect 10 on uneven bars during UCLA's 197.800-195.400 victory over North Carolina in the regular season finale.
Lee received her second perfect 10 of the year on bars, earning her team-best seventh event title of the season. Her score pushed her season average up to 9.888, and she now ranks second in the nation on bars. Additionally, Lee placed second on beam with a score of 9.925, helping the Bruins record their second-highest team total of the year.
This is Lee's third Pac-12 Specialist of the Week award this season, and her sixth Pac-12 weekly award of her career. She earned Freshman/Newcomer of the Week honors twice and Specialist of the Week honors once in 2015. UCLA dominated the Specialist of the Week category in the Pac-12 this year, winning seven times in 10 weeks, including the last five in a row.
UCLA will defend its Pac-12 title this weekend at the Pac-12 Championships in Stanford. The Bruins will compete in the 6pm evening session on Saturday, Mar. 18 at 6pm.
