The Bruins blanked #13 Grand Canyon and #20 Saint Mary's, 5-0, on Saturday.

MONTEREY, Calif., -- No. 3 UCLA (11-2) posted two more sweeps on Saturday at the Monterey Invitational at the Monterey Bay Park Sand Courts at Window by the Bay Park. The Bruins posted 5-0 wins over #13 Grand Canyon (10-3) and #20 Saint Mary's (6-3) to close out the weekend with their ninth-consecutive win and fifth-straight 5-0 sweep.
On court one, the Bruins' sophomore pair of Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara posted a straight-set win over Grand Canyon's Molly Turner and Tjasa Kotnik 21-13, 21-17.
A hard-fought three-set win followed on court two as freshman Madi Yeomans and Kamila Tan defeated the Lopes' Rebecca Conrad and Jessica Stansfield, 21-15, 11-21, 15-11.
Freshman Torrey Van Winden and junior Elise Zappia teamed up on court three to defeat GCU's Jordyn Sanchez and Hannah Towne, 21-12, 21-17.
Senior Jordan Anderson and sophomore Izzy Carey posted a straight-set win on court four over Grand Canyon's Kelli Iverson and Jessica Clark, 21-18, 21-11.
Another three-set match went to the Bruins on court five as the freshman duo of Lily Justine and Chanti Holroyd beat the Lopes' Emily Reinking and Tyanna Roy, 20-22, 21-18, 16-14.
In exhibition play, Remy Wilson and Jasmine Hogan defeated GCU's Anna Unnasch and Leigh Stonerook in straight sets, 21-19, 21-11.

In the second match of the day, UCLA twins Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara defeated Saint Mary's Payton Rund and Lindsey Knudsen in three sets, 21-12, 22-24, 15-10. on court one.
On court two, UCLA's Madi Yeomans and Kamila Tan defeated the Gaels' Sarah Chase and Emily Bible in straight sets, 21-17, 21-15.
Torrey Van Winden and Elise Zappia rallied on court three to take down SMC's Alexis Salmons and Mary Hernandez, 14-21, 21-9, 15-10.
UCLA's Jordan Anderson paired with Izzy Carey and rallied to post a three-set win over Lyndsey Calvin and Alexsa Parker on court four, 12-21, 21-10, 15-8.
The Bruins' Chanti Holroyd and Lily Justine made short work of Alex O'Sullivan and Madi Wilkerson of Saint Mary's on court five, 21-9, 21-12.
In exhibition play, Remy Wilson and Jasmine Hogan took down the Gaels' Dominique Dodd and Sienna Young in straight sets, 21-18, 21-10.
