STANFORD, Calif. - The Bruins finished The Goodwin on a high note, improving five spots and 18 strokes in the final round to finish in a tie for 15th. Sophomore Cole Madey was under par in his final round to post UCLA's best finish of the tournament.

As a team, the Bruins were 4-over 284 in their final round to finish at +44 (884).

Madey shot a 2-under 68 to finish in a tie for 25th (+6, 216). Starting on the 10th, he birdied #11, #15 and #3 before his lone blemish of the round on the fifth. Junior Tyler Collier had the second-best round of the day for UCLA with an even-par 70. He birdied his first two holes (#10 and #11), as well as the second and seventh, adding two double bogeys. Collier placed in a tie for 54th at +11 (221).

Junior Corey Shaun tied for 63rd (+13, 223) after a 2-over 72 on Saturday. He made two birdies on each nine, gaining strokes on #16 and #17, as well as #1 and #7, adding six bogeys. Freshman Hidetoshi Yoshihara tied for 80th (+16, 226) following a 4-over 74 in his final round. He made birdies on #15 and #7 and six bogeys. Sophomore Phil Delisi tied for 110th (+21, 231) after a 5-over 75 on Saturday. He birdied his first two holes of his second nine (#1 and #2) to go with four bogeys and a triple.

Next up for the Bruins is another trip to the Bay Area next weekend, heading to the Western Intercollegiate at the Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz (April 8-9).
