BRUINS OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY AT STANFORD โ UCLA (2-1, 0-0) travels to Stanford (1-2, 0-1) for the first Pac-12 Conference match up of the season on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will radio broadcast the contest which will also be aired over Sirius/XM, uclabruins.com, ESPN Radio and tunein.com and the TuneIn App.
The Cardinal have won the last nine meetings in the series (0-5 at Stanford and 0-4 at UCLA). The Bruins had captured the previous five meetings in the series, including wins at Stanford in 2007 and 2005. This is the first time that neither team owns a national ranking heading into the game since 2009.
In the last meeting played at Stanford in 2016, the Cardinal jumped out to a 35-17 halftime lead and used 369 all-purpose yards from Christian McCaffrey to post a 56-35 win. The Bruins racked up 506 yards of total offense. Josh Rosen completed 22 of 42 attempts for 325 yards and three touchdowns, including a 70-yard scoring strike to Darren Andrews. Kenny Young had 13 tackles.
UCLA's last win in the series came by a score of 23-20 in a 2008 Homecoming game in the Rose Bowl. Quarterback Kevin Craft completed six straight passing attempts during an 11-play scoring drive which culminated on a 7-yard toss to tight end Cory Harkey with 10 seconds to play. The Bruins most recent win on the Farm came in the 2007 season-opener, by a score of 45-17, spoiling Jim Harbaugh's debut as Cardinal head coach. Ben Olson threw five scoring passes during that contest and Kahlil Bell ran for 195 yards to lead the Bruins attack.

โข Josh Rosen (491 v. A&M, 463 at Memphis) is one shy of Cade McNown's school mark for most 350-yard passing games in a season of 3 ... His performance at Memphis was Rosen's sixth career 350-yard passing game which ties him with McNown (6) for the most in school history.
โข Josh Rosen is 11 yards shy of tying Cory Paus for 4th on the all-time UCLA career passing yards list (Currently 6,866 yds).
โข At Memphis, Darren Andrews (12 vs. Texas A&M, 10 at Memphis) became the first Bruin receiver since Craig Bragg (10 vs. Oklahoma, 10 vs. Oregon in 2003) to record double-digit receptions in two games in the same season. Andrews is just the third Bruin receiver to do so (also J.J. Stokes 10 vs. Washington, 14 vs. Wisconsin in the 1993 season). No Bruin receiver has done it more than twice in a season. Stokes is the all-time school leader with three for his career.
