COLUMBUS, Ohio โ€“ UCLA concluded its time at the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday with a third-place platform finish and 16 more points at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The Bruins finished with 31 total points and a 26th-place finish.

Eloise Belanger starred on the final day of the meet, not only qualifying for the platform "A" final, but topping the 300 mark when she got there to notch a personal-best NCAA finish on tower.

Belanger posted a score of 263.95 in Saturday's preliminary round, well off the pace of leader Jessica Parratto of Indiana (353.30), but still in the top eight. With scores resetting for the final round, though, the Bruin junior had done everything she needed. Having regrouped, the Montreal, QC, Canada native flourished on her final five dives, each one better than the next until a fourth-round-best 72.00-scored 107B. Her final three dives averaged a mark of 65.05, culminating in a final-round score of 300.65. Olivia Rosendahl of Northwestern registered the win at 346.15.

On the swimming side, Katie Grover and Emma Schanz each posted a 24th-place score to finish just shy of her respective final. Grover touched the wall at 1:56.14 in the 200 Fly, just 0.76 back of her second "B" final in as many days. Similarly, Schanz's 2:09.82 was 0.70 behind the 16th-place prelim finisher in the 200 Breast.

Other Bruin swimmers hitting water Saturday included Sandra Soe (16:17.27) and Margaux Verger Gourson (16:19.55) in the 1650 Free, as well as Kenisha Liu (48.87) in the 100 Free.
