Kyla Ross Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Sophomore Kyla Ross of the UCLA gymnastics team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for March 19-25.
Ross won two individual titles and led UCLA to the 2018 Pac-12 Gymnastics championship at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. Over the weekend. It was her third Pac-12 individual titles to her credit, having won beam in 2017, and UCLA's 18th conference title. She tied for first place in the all-around with a 39.675 and on uneven bars with a 9.975 to capture her second and third career individual conference crowns. Ross also earned podium finishes on vault (3rd, 9.9) and beam (2nd, 9.925) and was 10th on floor (9.875).
The third-ranked UCLA Gymnastics team will travel to Columbus, Ohio to compete at the NCAA Columbus Regional at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT at the St. John Arena on the Ohio State campus on Saturday, Apr. 7. Joining the Bruins in the Regional will be No. 10 Arkansas, No. 15 Boise State, No. 25 Ohio State, No. 33 Pittsburgh and No. 34 Kent State.
This is Ross' third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week of the season and the fifth of her career.
